A Thornbury man is celebrating after completing the London Marathon.
Brice Rowland, 59, ran 26.3 miles in less than five hours, raising more than £600 for the Alzheimer's charity.
He said: “It was an amazing day, the crowds were all in good voice cheering everybody on.
“I ran the London marathon before in 2007 but as I am approaching the big 60, my legs didn’t last as long as they did 16 years ago.
“I think it’s time to scale down to fun runs!”
