YATE recycling centre has suddenly closed after an "on-site incident", says South Gloucestershire Council.
A council statement reads: “Yate Sort It recycling centre is temporarily closed to the public after an on-site incident.
“All other recycling centres remain open.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will update you as soon as it reopens.”

The Gazette approached South Gloucestershire Council for more information.
The tip in Collett Way is usually open from 8.30am until 4.30pm.
Other recycling centres across the area are still open and haven’t been affected by the incident, this includes: Thornbury, Little Stoke and Mangotsfield.
It comes after waste collections in South Gloucestershire are due to be affected by industrial action next week by the council's contractor Suez.
