Firefighters are currently on the scene battling a grass fire in Cam. 

Two crews from Dursley and Stroud are currently using four hose reels to fight the fire in fields in Box Road near Cam and Dursley Railway Station.

It is believed the blaze erupted at around 4.14pm.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 4.14pm to reports of a grass fire in a field near to Cam and Dursley Railway Station.

“We have sent two fire engines, one from Stroud and one from Dursley, who are using four hose reels to fight the fire.”
