HOT balloons were inflated this morning ahead of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
The much-loved free event is due to return this year at Ashton Court Estate from Thursday, August 10 to Sunday, August 13
Up to 100 balloons are expected to take flight, during the 45th anniversary of the annual festival. This includes the well-known red BBC Globe balloon.
Nine balloons were inflated at the Lloyds Ampitheatre near the harborside earlier today, Thursday, July 20.
According to a spokesperson, the balloons did not fly because the weather was too windy.
