FIREFIGHTERS from Yate Fire Station are hosting a car wash next weekend in aid of two charities.
Crews and staff are opening up the station for the event on Saturday, August 12
The charity day will support The Fire Fighters Charity and SARAID, two causes close to the hearts of many staff.
Organisers from Blue and White Watch Yate said: “We’re looking forward to hosting another charity car here at Yate to benefit two important causes.
“Come along and see us on the day, get your car cleaned and help us make a real difference!”
SARAID is a British search and rescue charity that provides humanitarian assistance around the world in response to large scale disasters.
Meanwhile, the Fire Fighters Charity provides support and treatment to serving and retired members of staff from UK fire and rescue services.
The cash wash will take place from 10am until 4pm.
Donations will be collected on the day in cash.
