I read with interest the main article in The Thornbury Gazette of Thursday August 10 2023.
Finally, Luke Hall MP for Thornbury and Yate has stuck his head over the parapet about Thornbury High Street. It’s a pity he didn’t do so earlier when the previous Tory Administration on South Gloucestershire Council “pushed through” the proposals against the majority local view.
Now Toby Savage (ex Leader of the Council) has gone and the Tory Councillors are in the minority, Mr Hall has decided to speak out! Some two/three years too late I would suggest! Oh another photo opportunity Mr Hall can’t miss out on (that’s all he seems to be capable of achieving).
Could it be that there is a General Election looming?
