POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Berkeley earlier this week. 

A property along Howmead, Berkeley was broken into between Tuesday, August 15 at 8pm and Wednesday, August 16 at 9.30am. 

The burglar gained entry through the back door. 

Gloucestershire Police say they would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a Silver R32 Volkswagen Golf with blacked out windows around the time of the incident.

PSCO Liz Ward said in a community alert: “A property on Howmead in Berkeley was broken into between Tuesday, August 15 at 8pm and Wednesday, August 16 at 9.30am. 

“They entered via the back door and an untidy search was made of the property.

“Police believe that the following vehicle may have been involved and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it within the area. 

“Silver R32 Volkswagen Golf, blacked out windows.

“If you have any further information about this incident, we’d like to hear from you. 

“Please complete the following online form quoting incident GC-20230816 0140.”
