Wotton’s Co-op is due to close its doors tomorrow as it undergoes a makeover.
The Your Co-op Food in Long Street is due to shut temporarily starting tomorrow, Monday August 21.
Improvement works include installing new energy efficient refrigeration and freezer doors as part of a £100k investment by The Midcounties Co-operative.
It will eventually reopen again at 7am on Friday, August 25.
A spokesperson from Midcounties Co-operative said: “The Your Co-op Food Wotton store will be temporarily closed from Monday, August 21 to Thursday, August 24 to undertake planned improvement works following a £100k investment by The Midcounties Co-operative.
“The investment will see the instalment of brand-new energy efficient refrigeration and chiller doors to help reduce the store’s energy consumption as part of the society’s ongoing efforts to minimise its carbon emissions and climate impact.
