A NEW food hygiene ratings has been awarded to a Yate pub, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Codrington Arms, at North Road, Yate, South Gloucestershire was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 19.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
