A Yate man caught driving at more than twice the alcohol limit has been sentenced.
Christopher Lane, aged 44, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 12.
Lane, of Summers Mead, Brimsham Park, Yate, pleaded guilty to driving with 80 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He was caught in a Vauxhall Vivaro on July 27 at Summers Mead, Yate.
Lane was banned from driving for 20 months and must pay a £120 fine plus £133 costs and a £48 surcharge - a total of £301.
