A Dursley man has been found guilty of assaulting a woman in a case of domestic violence.
Spencer Wilkins, aged 20, of Forge Road, Dursley, was sentenced at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, September 11.
The assault - which is marked as a 'domestic violence case' on the court register - happened in Chapel Street, Cam on January 14.
Spencer pleaded not guilty at a hearing in May but was found guilty in his absence during a hearing on September 7.
A community order was imposed with a 30 day programme and 80 hours of unpaid work which must be completed by March 10.
He must pay £500 costs plus a £114 surcharge - a total of £614.
