PUBLIC tennis courts in Thornbury will remain closed this week.
The closure, at the courts on Mundy playing fields, is due to works to the pathways around them, said a Thornbury Town Council spokesperson.
They have also explained why the splash pad at the Mundy playing fields is occasionally closed for cleaning, usually for half a day each time.
They said: "This is due to a build-up of a green algae-like substance on the surface of the splash pad."
