A YATE MUM will represent England in a race next year.
Caroline Nicholas, a mother of two and member of Yate & Sodbury Striders running club, achieved her ambition at Knutsford on Sunday to qualify and represent England Masters.
Running the Knutsford 10k in the VW40 age category, Caroline achieved a time 36:50, a lifetime best and three minutes better than her 2022 best time.
Caroline has now been chosen to represent England in May of 2024 at the Birmingham 10k International Race.
A club spokesperson said: "This is an amazing achievement working with us on a progressive training plan."
