A TEENAGE boy has been charged with assaulting a male and possessing a knife in Yate.
The 15-year-old boy from Yate is charged with two counts of assault and possessing a knife in the town.
It is alleged that the boy assaulted a male causing actual bodily harm during an incident between April 29 and May 1 this year.
He was allegedly in possession a knife in the same time period.
The case is due to be heard at Bristol Magistrates Court on January 10 next year.
He has pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and possessing a knife in a public place.
Meanwhile, he pleaded guilty to the other count of assault.
The boy cannot be named for legal reasons.
