A MAN from Dursley who admitted having indecent images of children has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Sam Cockran, aged 24, of Holywell Road, Norman Hill, Dursley, indicated a guilty plea to three counts of making indecent photographs of children.
The court register states he had three category C, four category B and 22 category A images between December 1, 2022 and February 3, 2023.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 2.
Cockran received an eight month prison sentence, suspended for two years, with a requirement to take part in up to 30 days of rehabilitation activity.
The defendant was made subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £187 plus £85 in costs - a total of £272.
