A WOMAN from Yate has been banned from the roads after being caught behind the wheel while over the limit for cannabis.
Corinne Walker, aged 22, of Rogers Close, Yate, was caught twice over the drug-drive limit for cannabis on Westerleigh Road while driving a SEAT Ibiza on March 13.
She was found with seven micrograms of tetrahydrocannabinol, a constituent of cannabis, per litre of blood - the legal limit is two.
Walker also had no insurance.
She pleaded guilty to drug-driving and having no insurance at Bristol Magistrates Court on October 10.
Walker was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £48 plus £85 in costs - a total of £253.
She was banned for 17 months.
