THORNBURY Town Council is hosting an event to keep the community 'clean and green'.
The council is inviting residents to be a part of the clean-up day on Sunday, November 19 at Mundy Playing Fields from 11.00am to 12.00pm.
Equipment, from high-visibility vests and litter pickers to gloves and bin bags, will be provided.
The town council says there are three aims for the mission.
- Pick up litter together and restore nature's sparkle!
- Sort the collected waste into 2 categories: general waste and recyclables (paper, cans and bottles)
- Do a quick waste audit.
Register now by going to the link: https://forms.gle/RVtn2FudZHCmGqfs6 before November 15.
Upon successful registration, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the event details and reminders.
