A WOMAN from Wotton has been handed a hefty fine after being caught speeding.
Sarah Montgomery, aged 51, of Bearlands, Wotton, was caught breaking the 40mph limit on the B4058 New Road while driving a Citroën Xsara on April 19.
Montgomery was found guilty via the single justice procedure at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 17.
She was fined £440, ordered to pay a £176 victim surcharge plus £90 in costs - a total of £706.
She was also given four points on her driving licence.
