A NEW survey has been launched in Thornbury to improve youth services in the area.
Thornbury Town Council is hoping to hear from as many young people aged 10 to 25 who live, go to school, or hang out in the town.
An event was held with local groups who met with town councillors Helen Harrison and Fiona Dees.
Groups in attendance included Jigsaw, Krunch, Thornbury Baptist Church, Duke of Edinburgh, the Cricket Club and the Sea Cadets as well as Castle School, the football and hockey club.
Participants at the event were able to give some immediate feedback on possible future improvements to youth provision.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said “What kind of youth services in Thornbury would you like?
“What problems are there in Thornbury that you would like to change?
“What things worry you most about the future?
“These are some of the questions that Thornbury Town Council are asking young people.
“We want to encourage as many young people as possible to take part in the survey.
“This will help us to design our youth services to really meet the needs of the people who will actually use them.”

It is open until Thursday, November 30.
