A MAN from the area has been banned from driving for three years after he failed to provide a specimen for analysis.
Ian Fry, aged 52, of The Close, Slimbridge, failed to provide the specimen when required to by police into whether he had committed an offence.
The incident took place on Nibley Lane near Yate earlier this year on June 26.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates Court on November 14, where Fry pleaded guilty.
He was banned from driving for three years.
Fry was ordered to pay £85 in costs plus a surcharge of £114 - a total of £199.
He must also complete 60 days of abstaining from alcohol.
