A MAN from Yate has been jailed after assaulting a male and possessing a knife.
Jack Walker, aged 23, admitted possessing a double-bladed seven-inch dagger on March 4 last year in Baldwin Street, Bristol.
Walker, of Woodchester, Yate, also admitted assaulting a man on the same day.
He pleaded guilty to one count of assault and possessing a knife in a public place at Bristol Crown Court on November 14.
Walker was jailed for 12 months.
