FIREFIGHTERS battled a car fire on the M4 near Yate last night.
Crews from Kingswood attended the incident yesterday evening (Tuesday, December 13) at around 7.10pm on the M4 eastbound near junction 19.
A spokesperson from Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used a high-pressure hose reel with one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Highways were also in attendance and one lane was closed.”
