A WOMAN caught over the alcohol limit in a Land Rover Defender has been banned from driving.
Stephanie Carter, aged 32, of Cherington, Yate, was caught in a Land Rover Defender while over the limit on May 5.
She admitted the offence at Bristol Magistrates' Court on December 12.
According to the court register, Carter was caught on the A46 at Old Sodbury while 'unfit to drive through drink'.
No alcohol reading was given but the legal limit in the UK is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Carter was banned from driving for 19 months which can be reduced by 19 weeks on completion of a safety course.
She must pay £85 costs by January 9.
