TWO parents from Yate face a huge court bill for not sending their teenage son to school for several months.
The mum and dad failed to send their 15-year-old son to school on a regular basis for nearly five months.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates Court on Monday, December 11.
The mum was fined £80 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 plus £80 in costs - a total of £192.
The dad was fined £80 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £64 plus £80 in costs - a total of £224.
