POLICE have praised a member of the public who helped remove a fallen tree from a key road in the Dursley area yesterday afternoon.

The tree fell down, blocked the road and caused delays in Tait's Hill in Stinchcombe yesterday, Thursday, December 21.

It was eventually removed by a kind-hearted man that helped Stroud Police.

Stroud Police said in a statement on social media yesterday: “A big thank you to the kind gentleman that assisted with a tree that had fallen on Tait’s Hill, Stinchcombe this afternoon!”
