A WOMAN from Yate has been banned after she was caught driving over the alcohol limit.
Julia Amos, of Templar Road, Yate, was caught by police while driving a Citroen Berlingo on the B4509 in Leyhill on August 22 last year.
She gave a reading of 127 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80.
Amos was banned from driving for 12 months.
She was fined £313 and must pay a victim services surcharge of £125 plus £85 in costs - bringing the total to £691.
