A MAN from the area has admitted to possessing weapons during an incident at Yate Shopping Centre earlier this month.
Colt Valentine, aged 31, of Dowsell Way, Yate, pleaded guilty to possessing a 6cm lock knife and a broken glass bottle of wine on Tuesday, February 6.
He also admitted affray and assaulting a female police officer on the same day.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 7.
He is due to be sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday, March 5.
