A MOTORIST has been penalised for persistent driving offences.
Tristan Smith, 47, pleaded guilty to three charges of driving while disqualified and three of driving without insurance at Bristol Magistrates Court on March 15.
He was caught in Beacon Lane, Winterbourne on February 4, on the A4174 on December 1, 2023 and in Over Lane, Almondsbury on September 13, 2023.
Smith, of Dowsell Way, Yate, was given an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months plus a mental health treatment order and rehabilitation.
A 20-month ban was imposed plus £85 costs.
