TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 80-year-old man died in Cheltenham yesterday, Sunday.

Officers were called to a property on Welland Court at around 7pm with a report that a man had been seriously injured.

An 80-year-old man was found to have sustained fatal wounds within a property and was declared dead at the scene.

Two men, aged 63 and 75 and both from Cheltenham, remain in police custody.

A police spokesperson said: "There is currently a scene guard in place at a property while officers remain at the scene.

"Officers from the Major Crime Investigation Team are in the early stages of an investigation and are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or has information to come forward.

"Information can be provided to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 365 of April 14."
