Magistrates have ordered the closure of a vape shop in Bishop Auckland for "nuisance or disorder" and imposed hefty costs on the store.
The case against Easi-Vape of Newgate Street, in Bishop Auckland was heard at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (April 17).
UPDATE: Easi-Vape in Bishop Auckland closed over illegal vapes
An application for the closure order was brought by Durham County Council.
A hearing at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court was told the application came following the service of a notice on Easi-Vape on Tuesday (April 16) pursuant to section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act of 2014.

Magistrates ordered Easi-Vape at 148 Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, be closed immediately and remain closed for two months.
Easi-Vape was ordered to pay costs of £1,398 to Durham County Council.
