POLICE have issued an appeal after a dog was stolen during a burglary in the district. 

A Jack Russell Terrier was stolen from an address in Arlingham between 6am and 10am on Monday, April 22. 

According to a community alert, the property was broken into and the dog was stolen during the incident. 

Officers from the Animal Welfare Service from Stroud District Council have now also shared two photos of the missing pooch. 

According to the SDC team, it is believed the dog was stolen from a locked workshop on a farm at the address.  The dog is also microchipped.
