A HIDDEN gem in Cirencester has been named one of the best boutiques in the country by The Telegraph.

Beloved vintage shop Ava and Iva, which is situated next to Café Mosaic in Cirencester's historic Wool Market, has been hailed as a great place to shop after it was included in The Telegraph's top 50 independent boutiques in Britain list.

In the article, stylist Jenny Garcia commented on the vast array of designer items stocked inside the exciting treasure trove.

She said: "Off the beaten track, but well worth discovering.

"Expect to find vintage and pre-loved Burberry trenches, Prada bags, Miu Miu shoes and Marant dresses, with a smattering of Whistles, Barbour and Jigsaw.

"Outside the shop there’s usually a bonus rummage rail of lesser known labels and handmade pieces at great prices."

The fabulous boutique was set up by fashionista Sian Salter in 2015 who has a longstanding passion for vintage clothing and investment pieces.

Her website says: "Driven by a passion for vintage clothes, and years of collecting investment pieces, Ava and Iva was created by Sian  in 2015.

"We buy and sell pieces by well-known designers and have collected iconic styles from past decades that will never date.

"The material, tailoring and workmanship, evident in vintage pieces ensure these garments last beyond our own lives.

"Vintage investment pieces can be worn with your contemporary wardrobe and give you that unique individual style.

"Add a bit of vintage to your wardrobe and stand out from the crowd, be a trendsetter."
