POLICE recently discovered a huge fly-tipping rubbish pile while out on patrol in Wotton. 

Officers described the incident as “reckless” and have informed council officers at Stroud District Council for removal. 

A spokesperson from Stroud Police said: “Whilst out of foot patrol yesterday morning in Wotton PCSOs Mike Trebble and Debbie Hudman came across this reckless fly tipping.

“This is not good for the environment or wildlife.

“Action taken informing local Stroud District Council for immediate removal.”
