A FIRE broke out at a home in Cam yesterday afternoon.
Four fire engines attended the incident at a property in Woodview Road at around 4.40pm yesterday, July 1.
During the incident, Woodview Road was temporarily blocked.
Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service said part of the roof was damaged during the blaze.
A fire service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.39pm to reports of a roof on fire at a property in Cam.
“We sent four fire engines to the scene, two from Dursley, one from Stroud and one from Wotton.
“Crews used one jet, two hose reels and 13 sets of breathing apparatus to put it out.
“The loft space and roof of the house were 50 per cent damaged by fire and 100 per cent damaged by smoke.
“The stop time was 7.04pm.”
