IT has been revealed why there is a phone signal outage in the Dursley area.
Customers using O2, Vodafone and Sky mobile have been reporting intermittent signal problems since this morning, Thursday, September 26.
It is understood the problem has been caused by “planned maintenance work” to a mast in the area.
The work - which is being carried out by Vodafone - is due to be completed by 5pm tomorrow, Friday, September 27.
An O2 spokesperson said: “Our infrastructure partner, Vodafone, is carrying out planned maintenance work in the Dursley area meaning some customers may experience intermittent issues with their service.
“Engineers are working quickly to restore services as soon as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
