A SUMMER street party is being planned in Wotton under Edge with the help of a new crowdfunding platform.
The Long Street Summer Social is a free community event with live music, comedy, art, children's activities, food and drink, vendors and more.
Stroud District Council has partnered with Spacehive to help raise funds for the street party, which is due to take place on Friday, August 30, from 12pm to 8pm.

The organisers are asking for as much support as possible to help get the project off the ground.
They have already created a committee, which includes leadership from the town council and various other organisations.
