A PUB in South Gloucestershire plus two others in the area have been named in The Telegraph's top 500 pubs in England.
Expert Will Hawkes had the honour of collating the list, travelling the length and breadth of the country to find the best pubs.
Here are the best pubs in our area, according to The Telegraph's List:
- The Horseshoe, Chipping Sodbury
- The Old Spot, Dursley
- The Salutation at Ham near Berkeley
It comes as the Horseshoe pub - which is located in Sodbury High Street - won CAMRA Bristol and District Pub of the Year award last year.
Located in a 15th century building, it is a ‘real traditional country pub’, with an award winning beer garden.

Meanwhile, The Old Spot was previously voted The Telegraph's best pub in Gloucestershire earlier this year in January.
The Hill Road boozer - formerly known as the Fox and Hounds - was bought by Ric and Ellie Sainty in 1993 from national brand Whitbread after previously failing to sell at auction.
Over the last three decades, it has won multiple awards from the area’s most dedicated beer-drinkers was even awarded the highest accolade of national pub of the year in 2007.

It has also won numerous CAMRA awards, including National Pub of the Year in 2014, and was also named the district's cider pub of the year in 2023.
