A 17-YEAR-OLD has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in South Gloucestershire.
The charge comes after a male walked into a pub in Two Mile Hill Road, Kingswood, with a serious knife wound in his back on Friday night, August 8.
The teenage boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is set to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, August 12.
A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: “The victim has since been discharged from hospital.
“His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.”
Two other people were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have been released on police bail.
