A 17-YEAR-OLD boy from Chipping Sodbury has been sentenced for a string of offences including stealing a £6k motorbike and dangerous driving.
The teen, who cannot be named, stole a Kawasaki bike worth £6,000 on June 30 this year after breaking into a property in Lawrence Weston near Bristol.
On July 4 he was caught driving a Vauxhall Astra dangerously while banned and without insurance in Woodmans Close, Chipping Sodbury.
He also damaged a property in the street on the same day, failed to stop for police and was in possession of 2.1 grams of cannabis.
In total he admitted seven charges at Bristol Magistrates Court on August 6 - burglary other than a dwelling, criminal damage, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, dangerous driving, possessing cannabis and failing to stop for police.
He was sentenced at the same court on August 13.
A youth rehabilitation order was imposed until December 12, 2026 and he was given an electronic tag for 16 weeks to ensure he complies with a night time curfew.
He must also complete 60 hours of unpaid work and was banned from driving for 18 months.
