Kyle Mundy appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court
A MAN has admitted attempting to steal a fibreglass cow seat worth nearly £700 from a family-run dairy farm.
Kyle Mundy, aged 21, tried to take the unusual item worth £669 from Old Green Farm at Earthcott Green, Alveston on July 29.
Unusual item targeted at farm shop
The quirky large seat is normally situated outside a small farm shop selling dairy produce on the site.
Mundy, of Hartcliffe Road, Bristol, was charged with attempted theft including theft by finding in connection with the incident.
He admitted the charge at Bristol Magistrates Court on August 29.
Sentence and compensation
A community order including 20 days of rehabilitation activity was imposed which lasts until August 28 next year.
Mundy must also pay £669 in compensation.
