A MAN has been sentenced after he admitted assaulting a woman.
Nathan Harnden, aged 28, Tilsdown Close, Dursley, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 31 and was sentenced at the same court on Friday, October 17.
The court heard how he assaulted a woman in Dursley on April 27
He was given a community order which includes 18 months of non-residential mental health treatment.
Harnden must also pay an £80 fine and £85 in costs, meaning he must pay a total of £165.
