A PUB in South Gloucestershire has reopened after a six-figure refurbishment.
The White Lion pub, located on Frenchay Common, underwent an extensive renovation both inside and outside, with updates also made to its menu.
Now, visitors can enjoy a variety of pub classics and contemporary dishes, including fish and chips and a pulled lamb shepherd’s pie at the Greene King establishment.
The refurbishment also introduced changes to the pub’s décor, lighting, and furnishings.
The toilets were revamped, and the exterior was enhanced to improve overall appearance.
Rosie Hale, the White Lion's general manager, shared her delight at the reopening.
She said: "There has been a real sense of excitement and anticipation as the reopening moved closer.
"It is brilliant now we have customers back in the pub as it has really come to life and there is a great atmosphere.
"This pub is all about people coming together for a chat, a bite to eat or relax with a refreshing drink.
"There is plenty on the menus to tempt you, as well as an exciting programme of events and entertainment.
"Come in and see us!"
