SOUTH Gloucestershire Council has pointed to an 'abnormally large amount' of recycling after Christmas for missed collections.
The council said anyone whose recycling was not collected on Tuesday, December 30 should take household recycling to the Sort It recycling centres at Mangotsfield, Thornbury or Yate.
For the week commencing Monday, January 5, each collection will take place the day after it is normally due.
Collections will return as normal from Monday, January 12.
