NEW bags are being rolled out amid changes to black bins collections across South Gloucestershire,
With black bin collections moving to a three-weekly schedule from May, large recycling bags for plastics, cans and foil, plus soft plastic collections, will be rolled out to householders.
SGC says the change is to reduce emissions, increase recycling rates and lower costs.
A new free subscription service will be introduced to ensure hygiene and nappy waste is still collected every fortnight.
