DRIVERS are being warned of possible delays near Stroud later this week due to an abnormal load.
A 68-tonne load will be transported through Gloucestershire on Friday, May 8.
The load will be escorted with police support between 1.45pm and 2.45pm from junction 13 of the M5 to Sandfield Canal Bank in Frampton on Severn.
It will exit the M5 at junction 13 for Stroud before travelling along the A419 to Whitminster roundabout.
It will then continue on the A38 before turning onto Perry Way and Church Lane before reaching Sandfield Canal Bank in Frampton on Severn.
The load is a boat measuring 26 metres long and 4.6 metres wide.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "Motorists are advised to avoid the route or allow additional time for their journeys."
