Two roads are closing for two weeks of resurfacing works.

Peache Road and Northcote Road in Downend, South Gloucestershire will be shut to all vehicles on weekdays from 7.30am to approximately 5pm starting Monday, June 1.

A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council said: "The works will involve the planning off of the existing surface of the carriageway, some reconstruction works and the laying of a new surface.

"For the duration of the works, the road will be completely closed and all traffic will be diverted around the area whilst the closures are in place."

The diversion route is: Westerleigh Road, Blackhorse Road, Richmond Road, Northcote Road (part unaffected) and vice versa.
