A new update has been released on A38 South Gloucestershire traffic delays due to roadworks.

South Gloucestershire Council’s project team will be at Almondsbury Garden Centre on Thursday, June 4, from 9am until midday to answer questions and share updates on the scheme.

Traffic delays have previously been reported along routes in the area due to these works.

A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council said: "Drop by anytime and ask questions and find out the latest on the scheme."

The project focuses on public transport and active travel improvements along the A38, aiming to make journeys safer and more reliable for everyone.

Construction began in spring 2025 and is expected to finish by spring 2027.

Full details of the scheme are available on the council’s project website beta.southglos.gov.uk/transport-schemes/.
