Overnight resurfacing works have begun on a major South Gloucestershire road.
The A432 Badminton Road will be closed between Nibley Lane and the Culvert Avenue roundabout for eight nights from Sunday, June 7.
Work will take place between 8pm and 6am each night, with a full road closure in place.
A South Gloucestershire Council spokesperson said: "There will be no vehicular access via Nibley Lane during closures.
"Pedestrian routes will remain open, and signed diversions will be in place (see map)."
The resurfacing is part of ongoing improvements along the A432 Active Travel Corridor.
It comes ahead of the new M4 overbridge reopening.
Although access to properties will be maintained, residents may need to approach from different directions depending on the location of works each night.
