A 61-YEAR-OLD man has been given a community order after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a woman in Dursley.
Roy Jepp, aged 61, of Woodmancote, North Nibley, admitted intentionally touching a woman in a sexual manner without consent in the town between July 30 and August 2 last year.
He entered a guilty plea at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on March 5 and was sentenced on May 14.
The court imposed a community order with a requirement to attend rehabilitation activity for up to 30 days and complete 200 hours of unpaid work.
Jepp must also register with at Stroud police station for five years.
In addition, he was issued with a restraining order forbidding contact with a named female and banned from visiting an address until November 13, 2027.
Jepp was ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs plus a £114 surcharge.
