A MAIN road in South Gloucestershire will be closed overnight for resurfacing works.
The closure will affect the A420 Chippenham Road in Cold Ashton for two nights starting on Tuesday, June 16, for major resurfacing works.
Work will take place between 8pm and 6am and involves removing the old road surface, carrying out reconstruction, and laying new tarmac.
Access will be maintained for properties and businesses along the route, but disruption is expected.
A South Gloucestershire Council spokesperson said: "Every effort will be made for access to properties and amenities fronting the site to be maintained and disruption kept to a minimum."
A signed diversion route will be in place throughout the closure period.
